One of the brewmaster favorites here at Glengarry. Maibock is a German style amber lager that might be as close to heaven sent as one can come.
Märzen (Octoberfest)
Märzen is a traditional German style amber lager that gets it's fame because it was served at the wedding of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig in 1810. The beer available then was the Märzen style because it is brewed in March (German März), and ready in early fall after being stored all summer in cellars. Hence forth it has become known as Octoberfest Beer.
